2315Z Mesoscale Blog and Update

A few more tornado warnings were issued after the "potential tornado" viewing from the roof of the NWC.

Thye CIMSS Prob Severe Model continued to generate high probabilities with cells south/southeast of Norman.  A cell split with the right mover producer another tornadic supercell in northwest Atoka, and southeast Coal counties. The SVR PROB values were in the 97-99% range.  Attached is the image from 2245 UTC. Confidence increased for a TOR warning over a severe thunderstorm warning.

The image below shows the 2246 UTC 0.5 Deg Base REF with a hook echo forming. Some local TV stations showed the ground truth of a tornado on the ground near Stillwater later on.
