NUCAPS suggestions

A few suggestions for the NUCAPS display, particularly the "NUCAPS Sounding Availability".

First, instead of showing the failed IR/Microwave sounding profiles from the "yellow dots", include the microwave only profiles.

Second, make readout available to sample from the "NUCAPS Sounding Availability" display. Readout information could include:
1) Sounding type: IR/Microwave Sounding, Microwave Only Sounding, IR/Microwave and Microwave Only Soundings Failed QC
2) Height of Cloud layers
3) Derived indices such as: CAPE, Lapse Rates, Height of Freezing and -20C levels

The readout one would get from sampling would be similar to what can be done with the ProbSevere Model (see image below). Sampling the ProbSevere product outputs fields that are influencing the probabiltiies. The idea for NUCAPS is that, when sampling the availability display, various fields derived from NUCAPS would be available.
