Marginal day for severe weather but scattered high country convection has developed as upper speed max traverses northern Colorado. Instability is weak in general in the dry air mass. Broad scale convergence or moisture advection is pretty limited in the area, although convergence is enhanced a bit with Denver cyclone effects. Would expect some increase in coverage this afternoon with a marginally strong or severe storm possible through sunset. Main hazards likely downburst winds. Slight better moisture on eastern plains may support a marginal hail risk for a time.
