Overshooting Top Extravaganza

Looking at 1-minute imagery for a cluster of 3 storm cells shows overshooting tops coming through the dense overcast. The southern most cell (still image) had corresponding storm top divergence of about 150 kts and 50 dbz core to 48 kft. It was noted that the 1 minute still frame captured below occurred between radar scans. This is a great example of how 1 minute imagery can lend confidence to the warning. In addition, prob severe performed well on this storm with a 98% prob severe value. - Jason Bourne
