Seeing a VERY strong signal for a strong updraft on OCTANE. This is not only seen in the IR but also the Visible! Over the past couple of days, I noticed that IR showed divergence features a bit better, but it is very apparent on both today for this storm. Helped give confidence, in addition to other tools, of the strength of this storm (for a subsequent severe warning).
Although, for the storm to the NE of the strong storm, it's easier to see the divergence in the IR direction plot than in the visible due to the anvil clouds.
