GLM, ENTLN, NLDN, ProbSevere, MRMS

Hefty storm in northwestern North Dakota this afternoon. Several products to look at. The first is the GLM, There was a marked increase in the cluster of GLM Events, with numerous flashes derived within the storm. This increase was reflected in the Prob Severe reaching 41%. MRMS is still severely underestimated when this storm was interrogated via radar, it is still believed this is due to the sparse MRMS coverage. Towards the end of the loop below, you can actually see the MRMS reflectivity creates two storms, due to the distance from the KMBX and KBIS radars. Additionally, The GLM had nearly three times the flashes as ENTLN, Which is expected given the sparse coverage of the ENTLN network in more rural areas of the United States.
