NUCAPS helps verify instability values

The NUCAPS are here!  It's like Christmas morning when they arrive. 

I have attached both for comparisons sake.  I used the Del Rio 18z sounding, which still showed a moderate cap, and the 20z NUCAPS for an area East of the dryline.  I did have to manually adjust the temperature and dewpoint on NUCAPS as usual, and also needed to make a slight adjustment to the 18z soudning.  Both sounding and NUCAPS displayed CAPE in the 3000-4000 range and LI of -11.  Severe potential galore.
