2 storm/large area prob Tor

This probsevere area joined 2 storm areas which would have been nice to have kept separate. Developing circulation in southeast Page county...older circulation in central Page county.

Tornado Warned storms

Getting to see confirmed tornadoes and IR was very interesting to see. You could see each updraft very well as they moved through.

Cold top -72 and rotating storms

Cold tops in the -72 with probtor 30 to 45 percent.
Another elevated probtor of 55 percent. Highest yet.

Prob TOR southwest Iowa

Prob tor of 40+% 10  minutes before pictures of tornadoes. Dropped to 10% at time of tornado occurence roughly. Tornado has lifted and prob tor down to about 10%

SevereProb

Some of the highest TorProbs we have seen northern storm had a Torprob of 53%. We warned on that storm even though no reports of tornadoes were reported. Based on both radar signatures and TorProb we felt it warranted a tornwarn.

Interesting lightning jump

Been watching 2 storms and even though the southern storm had a huge lightning jump as expected. What made it odd was the extent to which the lightning was being shown on the GLM gridded data. The lightning was was spreading out even as the storm was developing.

Highest PROBTOR Prob seeing so far 53 percent

Highest ProbTor value so far with northern storm with 53 %. A Tor warning was issued several volume scan before it got to that level (tor issued with ProbTor at 46 %).

NM Fire

View of the fire temperature showing hot spots a bit better initially than the Day/Cloud/Fire product. Flare ups in northern NM, along with fires further south and west.
